This conversion will help you use material from Ghost Stories: Horror Mystery Adventures with Unbidden. ©2004 Politically Incorrect Games. All rights reserved.

Game Mechanics

•  All references to Empathy should be read as Perception.
•  All references to Fitness should be read as either Strength or Dexterity depending on the circumstances.
•  All references to the Trivial difficulty should be read as Simple, while Routine should be read as Average.
•  All references to Calamity should be read as Critical Failure, while Triumph should be read as Critical Success.

Creating Non-Unbidden Special Characters
Characters may be created using ESP, Sorcery, or True Faith skills, although they cannot be Unbidden, who are only capable of their own endowments. These alternate characters, however, would work well as antagonistic or investigative non-player characters or even player characters interacting with Unbidden or just the Darkness.

The following modifications should be made to the character creation process:

Step 2: Instead of a Caste, choose a path.

Medium: access to ESP skills
Sorcerer: access to Sorcery skills
Blessed: access to True Faith skills

Step 3: Skip the part where you roll a die to determine the character’s Mythos rating (Mythos is not used).

Step 5: Instead of allocating these points to Endowments, divide them among the skills relevant to the character’s path.

Step 6: Roll a single die and divide the result by two (rounding up) to determine how many Personal Demons the character must have. Work with the gamemaster to determine the best use of each type.
