Classic Fantasy Roleplaying Rules
What Price Glory joins the Precis Intermedia family. It was originally published in 1978.

“THIS GAME IS FANTASTIC”“THE REMASTER IS BEAUTIFUL”
“THE DIFFERENT TYPES OF EXPERIENCE ARE GREAT”“REALLY INNOVATIVE IDEAS.”

Back in the 70s, there wasn't just one RPG, even though one was most-popular. Many people didn't know about all the self-published and alternative games out there. What Price Glory was one such title. According to the original designers, the rules emphasize fun, playability, and logic, with fast melee mechanics that provide a better aura of realism. It features 125 spells and a separate clerical system. Thieving mechanics are fully described and unique. In fact, the entire rule set is packed with innovative rules (especially for 1978) in a solid framework, avoiding vague and abstract mechanics. Much of it should feel familiar, however.
