Extended Damage Rules Add a little gore to genreDiversion i.
Blood Loss
Whenever a character sustains more than one grade of injury in a turn, he begins to lose blood. At this point, when a number of turns equal to the character’s fitness rating pass, he gains one grade of fatigue. This continues until the character receives medical attention by way of a medicine or first aid task, or the use of a medkit (or the character falls unconscious, at which point he begins to gain one grade of injury instead of fatigue).
Damage Tables
Whenever fatigue or injury is inflicted as part of an attack, consult one of the tables below, referencing the line which corresponds to the number of grades and type of damage sustained. This determines the actual effects of the attack. Use the table which best suits the nature of the attack (blunt weapons, fire, etc.). If an attack does not fit into one of the categories, ignore the tables and describe the effects according to your own preferences. In the end, however, penalties affecting tasks are still dependent on the relevant level of fatigue or injury. The descriptive qualities of the damage are intended to add flavor to the game, but can also be extremely devastating.
