Hard Nova Gimmick Compilation
A Re-Organized Listing of All Gimmicks for GDi Hard Nova ][

With Hard Nova , Enhancement, Enhancement Beta, Intercosm, and the GDi Core Rules, Coyote Trail, and Earth AD 2, the number of gimmick options has skyrocketed. Unfortunately, the HN culture/enhancement/psionic organization breaks down when attempting to incorporate the other rules sets or settings outside the core.

Here we re-organize all the gimmicks for Hard Nova into Cultural, Inherent (Human), Inherent (Alien), Cybernetic, Mutant, and Psionic. The general concept is that human characters can select from Cultural, Inherent (Human), and EITHER Cybernetic, Mutant, or Psionic. Aliens are built by selecting from Cultural, a set of Inherent (Alien) based on the species, and EITHER Cybernetic, Mutant, or Psionic.

Cultural includes all Cultural gimmicks from HN plus a selection from the core rules and Coyote Trail.
Inherent (Human) gimmicks are from Coyote Trail.
Inherent (Alien) gimmicks are all Enhancement gimmicks from HN minus those that were obviously cybernetic (Autoinjectors, for instance), with all the Remnant gimmicks from Earth AD added in.
Cybernetic is all the Mechanical gimmicks from HN, plus the Cybernetic gimmicks from Earth AD and the Augmented gimmicks from the core rules.
Mutant is all the Mutant gimmicks from Earth AD and the core rules.
