Precis Intermedia brings back this classic boardgame of gangsters (originally published by Yaquinto Publications).

Danger lurks around every corner in this boardgame for 3 to 6 players. You can trust no one as you struggle for money and power in this fast-paced game for control of the city. Your every move can welcome ill-gotten gains or invite disaster. You could be a gangland kingpin or the hard-nosed police commissioner, but either way, you have to fight to stay alive...

Players seek victory by accumulating the most wealth. Each Crime Boss receives money from his speakeasy and attempts to pull big jobs, hijack other players' loot, and send out hit men to even up old scores. The rotating job of Police Commissioner means having to stop crime as thrilling high-speed chases find Crime Bosses using second cars to run through police road blocks and "choppers" to knock police cars out of the chase. The Police Commissioner may even turn crooked and take bribes or make deals with the Crime Bosses. It is all part of the fun and excitement that allows you to relive that famous part of history known as the Roaring 20s!

Featured in OMNI magazine's Top 10 Games from 1981... "We found this to be easily learnable and enjoyed by people who aren't game nuts. Most games we checked had long, involved rule books and required some wargaming experience."

Featured in GAMES magazine's Favorite 100 Games from 1981... "The Roaring 20s recreates the era of running boards, low-brimmed hats, and tommy-guns in this car chase game. Players take turns as mobsters or corrupt policemen, and try to make crime pay. Easily learned, but strategically subtle, this game is best with four or more playing."
