Bloodshadows 3E UpdateJan 14, 2016 | 7:49 pm
Bloodshadows 3E is coming along nicely. I thought I'd give you a bit more info. Here's a list of the species (other than Humans) that players can portray. Bear in mind that anyone known not to be Human is likely to suffer extreme bigotry.

Catrarm (identical to Humans, except that they have four arms)

Elkist (cross between a Ghoul and an extinct demonic species, they feed on Humanoid organs and can make one portion of their bodies intangible at any given time)

Face-Shifter (same as Humans, except that they can change the appearance of their faces at will)

Ghoul (stereotypical ghoul who subsides on Human flesh)

Grani (stone-like beings who can change their form)

Gris (alchemical accidents who are bad-tempered, squat, muscular eaters of garbage)

Hugor (cross between a Human and long-extinct Ogres, masses of muscle with a greenish cast to their skin)

Humbus (cross between a Human and Succubus/Incubus, they can teleport at will)

Orris (clay-like beings who look like half-sculpted humanoids, can change into any inanimate form)

Skethspawn (cross between a Human and Sketh, the latter being minor demons; they are quick and stealthy, and stink something awful)

Skitter-Rat (hairy humanoids that have rat-like qualities, possibly the result of trying to cure a wererat; good climbers and trackers)

Succubus/Incubus (life-draining demonic entities, they are socially adept)

Taxim (corpses possessed by demonic beings, they indulge in all manner of vices)

Vampire (undead who do what is needed to survive)

Werewolf (some transform into wolves under special conditions, while others have complete control over their transformation)

These are the general roles to which each character belongs:

Crook (conmen, cat-burglars, etc.)

Newscribe (reporters)

Merchant (tradesmen, smugglers, etc.)

Private Detective

Sentinel (cop, guard)

Socialite (mix with the elite and wealthy to climb the social ladder)

Spellslinger (mage)

Streetsinger (street performer, news singer)

Thug (do anything to get paid)

Average Joe (a citizen of the world)
