EarthAD MinisFeb 13, 2009 | 2:08 pm
I've been asked by quite a few people to release a Disposable Heroes set for EarthAD. I've been putting it off until I can complete a proper EarthAD miniatures game or GD3E update. Since you can combine GD3 with EarthAD 2 for the miniatures rules, I guess there's no reason not to release the miniatures set now, especially since the set is mostly completed and just needs to be formatted and uploaded to the Disposable Heroes server. I will consider releasing this set next month (I just released modern gangs). Here's a preview of the extremely-cool figures:

There's also a film noir set being colored and quite a few in the queue to be colored, including fantasy hordes, modern extras, Romans, and the special set for Warcosm Assault. I have a double-size monsters set in this queue as well, but I'm not that happy with the line art, so I'm going to commission a new one from scratch. A civil war soldiers set is currently being drawn. Are there any other sets you folks have an interest in seeing?

I'll cast my vote for a monster set, but you probably guessed that already

How about a Pirates set? Both normal pirates and "fantasy" pirates.

I feel like an IDIOT. I already have it. What was I thinking?!?!

How about a nice set of 'bots? One that could be used for HN & EAD2 (and whatever else), ranging from those small dusting utility bots, ship repair bots, hunter-killers, to human-shaped frames for PCs.

The EarthAD set will include some Rippers which can be used as bots, same with Warcosm Assault which will be included with the supplement/game by the same title and as a full set. I'll put it in the queue though. Thanks.

I know that you have made sets for Haven and Harn.

So how about a set for Metamorphosis Alpha? I bet that Craig and/or James Ward would be willing to have a special set made. http://www.metamorphosisalpha.net/

Harn, as in Columbia Games Harnmaster? Are those available still? That's one of my favorite settings.

Those Specific games don't really appear sufficiently different from any other to do special sets. Maybe in future.

I suspect that last post meant Harp, instead of Harn. If I'd have looked at the product list better, I'd have seen that. Ooops.

Anyway, a set of mini's that I'd be interested in seeing would be a civilian set for a modern / sci-fi setting. Just everyday walk-about sorts dressed so that they could fit as civies for different settings. I know there are some that would be usable in the Modern Gangs / Haven sets, but I like my Nuns without Guns (nod to BTRC) if you know what I mean. ;)

Perhaps it could even be a mixed set of civies and droids, answering my needs in one set! Just throwing it out there.

Thanks,

There is a set of modern extras that have been on hold for a while (three attempts to get them colored ended in failures due to artist flakery), but sci-fi and fantasy extras are also planned. They just aren't a priority right now.
