I've been thinking about Blake's 7 again lately. I'm currently listening to the new audio adventures. They are a little different from the original program, but excellent so far. For those who don't know about Blake's 7,it's a British sci-fi program from the 70/80's about a group of convicted criminals, one being a freedom fighter who was framed for pedophilia, who escape and fight the evil Terran Federation. While the special effects were probably even worse than early Doctor Who, the dialog and characters were what made the program. There were some great stories too. Here's some YouTube videos:

There's yet another plan to get a new TV series produced in the UK. The announcement is about a year old, so we'll see what happens. |
