Word Mill Games has released The Creature Crafter. This aid helps you create creatures in minutes for just about any game system. It gets my vote! Here's some notes I threw together for using it with genreDiversion 3E:
1. Divide all given bonuses/penalties by two to determine defined values, changes to abilities, and other modifiers.
2. Health: add the endurance and fortitude gimmicks for positive values and short-winded and frail for negative ones.
3. Speed: add the agile and quick gimmicks for positive values and slow and clumsy for negative ones.
4. Defense: apply to padding and/or armor.
5. Offense: apply as bonus/penalty to base close combat damage or add the natural weapon gimmick.
6. Size: add the following gimmicks for Tiny: Undersized (3), Small: Undersized (1), Large: Oversized (1), Very Large: Oversized (3), Gigantic: Oversized (5) or Extra/Super Scale
7. Potency: Roll on Column C in the GD3 Bestiary Chapter and modify for Minimum: x.25, Weak: x.5, Less: x.9, More: x1.1, Strong: x1.5, Maximum: x2
