Brett's Blog Build Your Own Minis Set Jun 26, 2009 | 10:55 pm I released the Build Your Own Minis Disposable Heroes Set this evening. For $9.95, you get 12 modifiable slots. This means that you can upload up to 12 of your own images and they are automatically formatted as Disposable Heroes figures that can be downloaded as a-frame and tri-fold standups, as well as flat counters. You can make armies out of them and keep them store on the server for later use. You can also re-upload new images should they existing pieces need to be replaced. I forgot to ask earlier, will it also work for larger than human figures, such as a horse or Ogre? I am working on a new printing service for minis, however, so the latter is just a matter of time. Larger figure support may or may not be added in future. Brett Commented: Mar 11, 2010 | 5:02 pm To follow up on this old post. You can have customizable Disposable Heroes figures printed now, except for the Build Your Own Set uploads. I don't want to violate any copyrights for others' artwork. I am, however, looking into the legal aspects (license agreement, indemnity, etc.) to add this feature in future. Add Comment
