I recently decided to bid on TSR's old Buck Rogers Adventure Game (High-Adventure Cliffhangers). I see this on ebay all the time and finally broke down and went for it out of curiosity. This is actually a good game, light years better than TSR's later Buck Rogers d20-based RPG. The game mechanics are real simple. There are a few attributes with ratings that determine how many dice to roll. There are also skills, which add an extra 3 dice to related rolls. You roll your dice to beat an assigned difficulty by computing their sum. Then there are paper miniatures, some maps, a bunch of dice, and a fair amount of scenarios. All in all, it's pretty cool and easy to learn.
