| For Doctor Who fans, they recently released the classic 5th Doctor Black Guardian Trilogy (from the early 80s) on DVD with enhanced CGI effects. These are Mawdryn Undead (one of my favorites), Terminus (one of my least favorites), and Enlightenment (another favorite). The latter was actually re-edited and re-mastered to widescreen as a single movie. I think this is probably the first Classic Doctor Who story made into a widescreen and it looks pretty good. The new special effects are not going to win any awards, but their editing and direction definitely should. For those who have seen this episode, picture the ships in line during the race with the sun in the background -- really well done.
