I'll be taking pre-orders for the boxed set of Ancient Odysseys: Treasure Awaits! next week.
UPDATE: The incompetence that is UPS didn't deliver the boxes that were supposed to be here today, because the driver apparently went to the wrong address. This sets me back the whole weekend. Morons.
Here's what it will include:
Book One: Basic Play
This book provides the necessary rules for creating adventurers and actually playing the game. Combine this with the Dungeon Book and Blank Adventurer Sheets, and you can start playing right away.
Book Two: The Dungeon
A complete dungeon adventure is provided in this book that can be explored by one or more players. All the hazards, monsters, and treasures that adventurers can encounter in this dungeon are described in here.
Book Three: Further Adventures
This book adds rules for improving adventurers, introducing a director to run the game in a more free-form manner, and creating custom dungeons. Descriptions for a wide array of traps, potions, and creatures are also provided here.
Blank Sheets
A collection of blank adventurer and creature sheets are included. Keep one of each sheet as a master, so they can be photocopied to maintain an endless supply.
Reference Sheets
A few sheets containing charts and tables for easy reference to rules, as well as a Conflict Action Map, are also provided. These can be utilized by players instead of thumbing through the books for specific details.
Dice
