Brett's Blog Is it spring already? Jan 19, 2010 | 10:49 am Lots of bird activity this morning out back. The robins are here already. There's always lots of starlings and sparrows, but they were out in force. A few cardinals made their brightly-colored presence known, as did a beautiful bluejay. Most unusual, I saw a red-headed woodpecker. And even more strange, not a single dove, which is very common around here. No mockingbirds either, which I see every now and then.
