One-Page DungeonsFeb 03, 2010 | 12:34 pm
I'm a big fan of old-school, simple dungeons. Not just as inspiration for Treasure Awaits!, but in general. It's very interesting to see how other people design their dungeons. There was a contest last year for a one-page dungeon -- here's the link to a bunch of such dungeons. There's another contest this year (link), which I decided to help sponsor with a copy of the Treasure Awaits! boxed set. This link explains what exactly a One-Page Dungeon is. I can't wait to see the entries if last year's entries are any indication of what we can expect.

Similarly, submissions for the Design A Dungeon Room Contest have ended. I also helped sponsor this one with a prize and meant to post about it, but I forgot. I'm not sure when the winners and entries will be announced, but I'll try to let you know.

I had thought this was strictly a D&D thing, but I see it is actually stat-less so you can plug in whatever game system you want. That makes it much more interesting. Hmmm.
