I'm currently working on a pocket edition of Ancient Odyssyes: Treasure Awaits!. This is a digest-sized softcover book that compiles all three books of the boxed set, so it's basically got the same dimensions of those books, but all-in-one. This book is primarily intended for retail (amazon.com and other stores), since I couldn't possibly make enough boxed sets without it eating up all my time. The softcover will be a few dollars less than the boxed set, containing the same content as the books, reference booklet, and loose sheets. Obviously, it will not include dice or easily-copied sheets -- you can print these sheets as needed from the PDF or download them here. The pocket edition should be available within the next few weeks.
What did we learn from this first boxed set? It's awesome, but eats a lot of my time to make. It's not something that I can easily distribute in high numbers. Hence, the need for a softcover to complement it. |
