Brett, do you have any familiarity with ArtRage? --I recently picked up (d/l'd) a copy for an OS 10.4 machine I'm using my WACOM tablet on, and was pretty impressed with its capabilities (something similar to Painter, but more 'graphixy'). http://www.artrage.com/

I can't draw. Blueprints and such -- and touch-ups -- I can do, but not freehand.
