A new trailer for the live action Space Battleship Yamato (Star Blazers) movie has surfaced on YouTube (LINK). Check it out. It's in Japanese, but the video is amazing.
I also happened upon Ctrl, a comedy series on hulu that would make a great roleplaying game. Each episode is between 3 and 8 minutes long, so it gets rather annoying having to load each new episode separately, but it's worth it. The whole premise is that this guy's keyboard actually works in the real world: undo affects the office rather than his computer, for example. And the show has real actors, which is always a plus, making this a quality series. Give it a shot.
In other news, I released the new Napoleonic soldiers set in the Disposable Heroes line of paper miniatures. These figures are terrific. Kudos to Nicolai Nickson and Matthew Vasey for illustration and coloring, respectively. Now I've got Matt working hard on another set: Asian Soldiers. These will include warriors from Japan (Samurai and Ashigaru), Chosun (and possibly other Korean Dynasties), Mongolia, Khitan/Liao, Ming China (and possibly other Chinese Dynasties). The first two nations have already been inked and they look fantastic. |
