Brett's Blog The Pillars of the Earth Dec 15, 2010 | 10:28 pm I've been watching The Pillars of the Earth, a British miniseries about a succession war in 12-century England with plotting monks and intrigue. This is a top-notch production with a great cast. Ian McShane (Lovejoy, Deadwood, Kings) is a great villain and it's nice to see Rufus Sewell (Eleventh Hour, John Adams, Dark City) in another program. I wouldn't call it a family program.
