New World Disorder ExpandedOct 23, 2012 | 9:59 pm
Yup. I'm working on a New World Disorder book. This combines the core, CyberZone, and Zombie Apocalypse books into one, plus a few extras from the collaborative and more. The printed version will replace the starter set/printpacks. An accessory pack will also be made available, including full-color printed paper miniatures, color area-effect templates, and stand-up bases.

There you have it. This will close out the New World Disorder line. I am retiring the system, because Tombstones n' Tumbleweeds 2E will introduce the new minis system based on Treasure Awaits! This new system is fully compatible with Treasure Awaits as far as numbering goes. There are new rules and some things are handled differently as it is a melding of Treasure Awaits, genreDiversion 3E, and Tombstones n' Tumbleweeds 1E.

If I already have the NWD and Zombie expansion I would not need this, correct? I suppose I'll need to pick up Cyberzone to make it complete. How much of the Collaberative is going to make it into the book? I might be intrigued even though I alrady have prints of NWD and ZA :)

Technically, you don't really need it. The main difference apart from the inclusion of material is the removal for the need of counters (except zombie counters) - conditions are now on the crew roster. Corporate sponsors and extended damage from the collaborative are in it, as are some new threats. Some other new material may also appear.

So, this is essentially a compendium of NWD and it's expansions, plus some select material from the collaborative?

Does closing the line mean that no further NWD work will be done [Full Stop]; or that further expansion of the NWD line will be Tomb&Tumble2 powered?

Pretty much, yeah. There is no further work planned, but that doesn't mean it won't happen. Likewise, a new edition is not currently planned, but a TNT2E-powered version could be done in future.
