Brett's Blog Yikes Dec 05, 2012 | 6:59 pm So someone left a 1-star review of Lords of Olympus at amazon, seemingly out of malice because he can't afford the color book. Two things. The first is that the review (which is not really a review, but whining) is also displayed for the cheaper B&W softcover, which isn't right. Secondly, this person failed to grasp how business works. I lose money if lower the price, since I have to give amazon a big cut -- and distributors a bigger cut when it goes to other book stores. So, that was the lowest price possible. On the other hand, you get free shipping from amazon, so it's not so bad after all. Also, if you don't want to spend that amount on the color book, get the B&W book -- that's why I had a lower-cost book printed, which is in line with the other books I publish. Color is expensive. So what I'm asking is that if you like the game, please leave a review at amazon to balance out his non-review. Here's the links: Color Softcover and B&W Softcover at amazon. Apparently, you don't need to have actually purchased the book to leave a review -- so take note: I am looking only for legitimate reviews. I do not condone leaving biased reviews or those done by people who haven't seen or read the book. That guy has placed three reviews, and in every one he whines about prices. I wish he could be reported for that crap.
