Lords of Olympus Review (sort of)Dec 13, 2012 | 4:19 pm
Read The RPGPundit's review of Lords of Olympus. Yes, he wrote it, but it does two things. First, it describes what you get in the book far better than I can. And second, it gives you a little more background on how it came to be. Check it out: LINK (theRPGSite)

I have to admit, from most others a review of their own game might be suspect, but Pundit honestly admits his bias up front, yet still gives loads of great info about what the system is like and how it might be to play it. Despite the "persona" he puts forth, I find the Pundit refreshing in that you know where he's coming from even if you might not agree with him, and he's always willing to "put his money (sometimes even literally) where his mouth is. I gained quite a bit from his review and it ultimately sold me on the game. I have never read Amber, so the Amber game has never been tempting for me, but Greek myth I have read and is very attractive to me :) I'll give playing this game a shot :) One question I have for you Brett is, how similar is Active Exploits to the Amber/LoO system? I have AE, but confess I have up to this point done no more than skim it.

Sigmund, the two games have very little in common, other than both being diceless. ;)
