I've got my new computer and all my files are now on it, along with my software (like Adobe apps) and web site development files. I am missing a few files, including my latest changes to HardNova 2 (good stuff too), Fringers scan touch-ups, and some in-house development work for simplifying my printing workflow. Nothing that can't be redone, luckily. So, just a minor setback.

This new iMac 27" is fast, especially with the 3TB fusion drive. I'm still getting used to the Magic Trackpad, but I can switch to my old Magic Mouse if it really gets on my nerves. The screen is huge - too big, in fact. It's like watching a tennis match and dragging files from one folder to another is a chore. Still, great definition, just like my old iMac.

Speaking of my old iMac, I put a new 1TB hard drive in it and it's as good as new.

Orders have been shipping, but my regular work will still be delayed a bit.

If you're on windows or can run windows software I recommend a file manager called Q-Dir. It allows multiple windows, so one window could be focused on he source folder, and the other on the destination folder, which is how I use it. There's also one called "muCommander" That's really nice and light-weight and also cross-platform. It can be used on Windows, Mac, and even Linux (which is where I use it).

I did install Vista for web testing. Found a new Internet Explorer bug involving DIV tags on my site - IE sucks. I had to change it to tables. Any idea where to get a cheap copy of Windows 7 or 8?
