I use a custom system to create the star maps for both HardNova 2 and Disposable Starmaps. I'm going to update this tool and make it accessible on the web site. It will function in a similar manner to Disposable Heroes and Disposable Tilescapes. You set the coordinates for the stars, plus a few options like color and font, as well as travel routes and probably regions of space. When done, you'll be able to save it and download as a PDF in both color and B&W. The PDF part is done, but I have to redo the interface, because it's a totally manual process at the moment for my use. Still not sure how the interface will work, but it will be along the lines of setting options for each star and clicking on the map to set its coordinates (also done manually).
