The public beta of the Disposable Tilescapes™ web version has been available for some time now. For those not in the know, Disposable Tilescapes lets you create your own one-inch tiled maps for use with miniatures or counters. I have been working on a regular Mac/PC application, which will make it a lot simpler to work with. I have a basic development version that draws and prints, but I'm still working on saving/loading. This is faster and more efficient. Simplicity is the key, so this will probably replace the web version.
Planned for an initial release, the app will save to PNG and JPG for both web and printing (72 and 300dpi). Mac users can save to PDF through the normal printing function. It may be able to import and create your own tiles. if you'd like to see any other features, let me know. Development screenshot below...
