Some of you know that I've been working on a star-mapping program for a while. I haven't really been able to do what I wanted until now: an easy to use system to put stars on a map. Anyone with access to the Disposable Tilescapes™ online system or App for Mac will gain access to this online system (any modern browser, except IE) when it is released. This is a 3D map, meaning that stars are given XYZ coordinates and you can change the camera angle and magnification in real time. Once completed, you can then save it as a PDF.
The screenshot below is the tentative interface - it will no doubt change a few times before release.
