One of my favorite games, not just published by me, is Barbarians Versus.... Created by Nathan Hill, this is a great beer and pretzels game. It's easy to learn and play, fun, and bonkers. You play a Barbarian who just wants to drink mead, kill the enemy, loot and pillage, and drink more mead. The base setting is one in which Vile Reptilian Invaders from Outer Space arrive to subjugate all. Alas, the Barbarians are the only ones who can stop them (maybe). You basically roll lots of D10s to this end.
Two alternate settings are also included. The first is Dwarf, in which these grouchy, stocky fellows crawl out of their tunnels to attack the Barbarians with weapons three to four times their height. The other is Zombie Meat. This one is bad. Really bad. All that meat that the Barbarians have been cooking and eating for their grand feasts comes alive. Cows, pigs, chickens, and elk that were just roasted begin to rampage. Not a good day.
