Feedback as a Delay in BloodshadowsMay 22, 2017 | 12:59 pm
Here's a new alternate method for using spell feedback in Bloodshadows Classic (MasterBook) and Bloodshadows 3E (genreDiversion 3E). Rather than feedback causing side effects, it represents the time that must pass before a character can cast the same spell again. These values are different between the two systems. Here's how to translate feedback to time for them:

Bloodshadows Classic
Convert the feedback number to a time using the Value Chart. For example, a feedback value of 19 requires 1.5 hours before the character can cast the same spell again.

Bloodshadows 3E
Consult the Primary Factors Table used to create new spells, comparing the feedback value as the cost to determine a time. For example, a feedback value of 6 requires 5 minutes before the character can cast the same spell again. If you would prefer longer wait times, use the cost and time columns on the Effects Table instead.
