Special announcement. Precis Intermedia will be publishing a weekly OSR periodical called RPGPundit Presents. Each issue focuses on a theme that can be used in OSR games, but may also inspire or have stuff that is easily ported to other games.
I know what you're thinking... OSR from Precis Intermedia? Yes. While I haven't published anything OSR, I do have some OSR projects in the works, like HardNova Retro (not that I know when it will ever be ready). But, I've always liked RPGPundit's imaginative work (his Dark Albion is one of the best OSR books I've read). And, of course, his work on Lords of Olympus should also give you an indication of the level of detail and creativity.
The first issue is about eating stuff you happen to find along the way during your dungeon crawls and other fantasy quests. Lots of random tables. Want to find out what happens when you eat a slime, fungus, or even a dragon that you find or kill along your travels? This is it.
