People that know me understand that I don't back many kickstarters. I don't use it for pre-ordering and I'm looking for a good deal. The ones I do back, I do so because I either trust the people involved, really like what they are trying to accomplish, or just plain think something is cool.
I backed the Mercenaries Spies & Private Eyes RPG by Michael Stackpole, published by by Flying Buffalo Inc. This new edition is a reprint with some corrections, new art, and new material. I have the older version, but for the price and feel of nostalgia I couldn't pass it up. The system is based on that of Tunnels & Trolls. The cover artwork is really nice.
I don't know when this book will be available outside of the kickstarter, but I certainly recommend getting it at some point. |
